The Performers

Nrusingha Rath

Nrusingha Rath is a first-year violin performance student at Waikato University, studying with Prof Dr. Lara Hall. He began his violin studies seven years ago with Mr. Vesa-Matti Leppänen, Concertmaster of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, and continues to study with him and Mr. Andrew Beer, Concertmaster of the Auckland Philharmonia. Nrusingha has received several scholarships, including the Sir Edmund Hillary Scholarship Award, the E Griego and L Switzer Scholarship Award, and the Chris Tustain Scholarship Award.

Carlee Hanna

Carlee Hanna completed her Honours First Class degree in Piano Performance at Waikato University under Katherine Austin and is working towards her Post-Graduate Diploma in Music under Dr. Rae de Lisle. She has performed in numerous concerts and enjoys teaching piano.
