Each year, the Royal Overseas League (ROSL) conducts a chamber music competition, with the prize for the winner being a $60,000 scholarship. Later in November, two of the best chamber music groups from the Waikato University’s Conservatorium will travel to Christchurch to compete in the 2016 Pettman Royal Overseas League Chamber Music Competition. This Morandiini House Concert is the main “dress rehearsal” for the competition. Please come and experience chamber music in the intimate surroundings of Gregor's beautiful home, as these two groups of very talented students - the Aurelian Trio and the Rangapu Duo - refine their performances for the contest in Christchurch in a few weeks time.
