Gabrielle Peake

In 2011 Gabrielle completed her Masters in Performance Piano with Rae de Lisle at the University of Auckland School of Music. (In 2010 Gabrielle Peake graduated from the University of Waikato with First Class Honours in Performance Piano, where she studied with Katherine Austin.)

Gabrielle has been a competitor of the 2010 National Piano Concerto Competition and Royal Over-Seas League Arts/Pettman International Scholarship, and has participated in masterclasses with internationally renowned pianist such as Peter Jablonski, Martin Roscoe, Noriko Ogawa and Read Gainsford. Gabrielle is a keen Chamber Musician and Piano Accompanist and is absolutely passionate about continuing her music study overseas. In December last year Gabrielle auditioned at the Guildhall and Royal College of Music in London.

She has accepted an offer to undertake an Artist Masters Programme in Piano Accompaniment at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama commencing in September 2012. Gabrielle has been generously supported in her studies through being awarded several scholarships including the Anne Bellam Scholarship, Sir Edmund Hillary Scholarship and the Lili Kraus Piano Award.
