Anya Nazaruk
Anya Nazaruk is a composer, arranger, conductor and pianist from Russia. She was born in Rostov-on-Don, where she completed a Diploma with Honors in Jazz Piano in the Rostov College of Arts where she went on obtain a Graduate Diploma of Teaching and Bachelor of Music (Composition) in the Music Academy of S. Rachmaninov (Russia, Rostov-on-Don). Anya has a Diploma in Choral Conducting after studying in Koshalin, Poland (1999-2003). In 2000 she completed pipe organ courses in Lutomirsk, Poland. Anya’s compositions have been performed in concerts, festivals and competitions within and outside of Russia. Her composition achievements include:
Since moving to NZ, Anya has been involved in various shows and was a Musical Director of “Footloose” (2008) and “Bye, bye, Birdie” (2010). Anya is currently the Director of Music at Southwell School, Hamilton. |
